Kelly Barrett, M.S., OTR/L

Owner and Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Kelly graduated from Winston-Salem State University in 2008 with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. She has been practicing pediatric occupational therapy in an outpatient sensory integration clinic setting since January 2009. Kelly has received continuing education and training in the areas of sensory integration and sensory processing, formulation of sensory diets, autism spectrum disorders, neurodevelopmental treatment, Handwriting Without Tears®, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder, visual processing, feeding disorders, and nutrition. Kelly is a Handwriting Without Tears® Level 1 Certified Handwriting Specialist.

Avery McNeil, M.S., OTR/L

Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Avery graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne University with a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2016. She has been practicing in this outpatient sensory integration clinic since graduating. Avery has received additional education in the areas of sensory integration and self-regulation.

Pediatric Sensory-Based Group Feeding Program

We offer a 12 week pediatric sensory-based feeding program beginning in the fall. Through participation in our program children learn how to explore foods, which enables them to engage in positive, social, and healthy eating habits.
